Our History

Secure Shred Solutions, LLC was founded in 2005 by Terri Richter and Beverly Anderson. We are a family-owned and operated business located in Carroll, Iowa. Secure Shred Solutions became a pursuit after Terri’s identity was stolen in 2003.

Our business was conducted out of a home office and driveway from July 2005 through April 2006, at which time we rented a shop for our first truck that we purchased in August 2005. In April 2009, we moved the office into a rented space when we hired our first employee–our nephew. We hired our second employee–our son–in July 2013. We operated out of the rented shop and office until September 2013 when we were finally able to build a new state-of-the-art Document Destruction and Recycling Plant, making it possible to move both office and shop into one location.>

Our Mission

Our goal is to protect businesses, organizations, and consumers against identity theft, as well as prevent unauthorized access to personal information. We also strive to set ourselves apart, offering the best customer service possible. We always treat our customers the way we like to be treated, with respect, dignity, and patience.
